This is the website of Crewe and District Model Boat Club.

 

A club of friendly model makers who enjoy building and sailing Radio Controlled model boats.

 

Visitors and new members are welcome and we enjoy sharing our knowledge for the benefit of both the novice and experienced modeller.

 

Electric, steam and sail models are built and sailed .

 

We are a member of the Northern Association of Model Engineers (N.A.M.E.) and are able to offer tests for member’s model steam boilers.

 

Situated in South Cheshire near to the M6 junction 18 we enjoy a large lake which offers plenty of room for the largest models.

 

Please note that the lake owner does not allow the use of  I.C engine models and has a no dog policy.

 

We meet and sail every Sunday and Wednesday afternoons, and from May to September we also sail on Monday afternoons, weather permitting.

 

The site has toilet facilities and a shop for snacks and coffee.

 

Parking is available alongside the sailing area and three bench seats are available for members use on sailing days.
